Day 1 Arrival into Calgary
After collecting your car at Calgary Airport you will drive to your first hotel downtown Calgary. Pick-up your Canada Roadbook at the front desk as you check-in. Use the rest of the day explore the ‘Stampede City’ or just relax before your journey to the Canadian Rockies. Overnight in Calgary.
Day 2 Calgary to Banff
Leaving the city behind, today you will head towards the rugged Canadian Rocky Mountains. You will be amazed by the sheer beauty that will unfold before you during your scenic drive past snow-capped mountain peaks and glistening blue waters. Spend the night in Banff.
Day 3 Banff
The day is yours to explore Banff and all of the fun activities that are on offer. Spend the day hiking, biking, horse riding, or just relaxing in the sensuous Upper Hot Springs whilst taking in stunning surrounding views of the Rockies. We also recommend taking a gondola ride to the top of Sulphur mountain for spectacular views of the Bow valley below. Spend the night in Banff.
Day 4 Banff to Lake Louise
After a short forty-five minute drive, you will be astounded by the beauty of Lake Louise. The sparkling crystal blue lake is jaw-dropping with the proud backdrop of the rugged Victoria Glacier. Spend the day enjoying activities, stroll around the water's edge or take a chair lift to the top of Whitethorn Mountain. Spend the night in Lake Louise.
Day 5 Lake Louise to Jasper
Today you will journey along one of the most scenic routes in Canada, the Icefields parkway. Ensure to make a stop at the Athabasca glacier and take a ride on one of the Ice Explorer vehicles, out onto the glacier. A little further along the highway is also the Glacier Skywalk, a glass floored observation platform 918 feet above the glacier-formed valley below. Continue onto Jasper where you will spend the night.
Day 6 Jasper to Clearwater
Today you will head down the Yellowhead Highway towards the Thompson Valley to Clearwater, a beautiful unspoiled area north of Kamloops. En route you will pass the majestic Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Rockies. The area is surrounded by crystal clear water and lush green forests. Spend the rest of the day and night in Clearwater.
Day 7 Clearwater to Gold Bridge/108 Mile Ranch
Today you will head to Gold Bridge/108 Mile Ranch, a famous town whose community was initially formed during the famous Cariboo Gold Rush. The area echoes the past and has dramatic scenery surrounding and a buzzing friendly community. Overnight in Gold Bridge/108 Mile Ranch.
Day 8 Gold Bridge/108 Mile Ranch
The day is yours to enjoy this quaint area. The history of this town is astounding and you can spend your day investigating the old mining community, the old mine ruins and ghost towns left by the settlers. Spend the night in Gold Bridge/108 Mile Ranch.
Day 9 Gold Bridge/108 Mile Ranch to Whistler
Today you will head towards Whistler, an area that is consistently renowned as North America's top ski resort but has grown into a fantastic four season resort. Whistler is a friendly and vibrant town which offers a myriad of year round activities. During the summer months enjoy golfing, horseback riding, mountain biking and a variety of water sports in the local lakes, so spend the day enjoying the upbeat atmosphere. Day 10 Whistler
The day is yours to enjoy this pedestrian village. You will be spoilt for choice with a wide selection of outdoor activities and entertainment to keep you going. Why not prebook a bear viewing tour or tickets to ride the Peak-2-peak gondola. When it comes to dining out you are spoilt for choice, from relaxed and casual to fine dining all available. Day 11 Whistler to Tofino
Situated along the south-western coast of Vancouver Island, the Pacific Rim National Park is a thin strip of magnificent islands, beaches and dramatic seascapes. Travel down the Sea-to-Sky highway from Whistler to Horseshoe Bay, where you will board a ferry that will take you across the Strait of Georgia to Vancouver Island. Enjoy the scenic drive across the island to Tofino. Spend the rest of the day enjoying the scenery and getting involved in some of the local activities. Spend the night in Tofino.
Day 12 Tofino, Pacific Rim National Park Area
The whole day is yours today to enjoy the recreational activities on offer or to relax by the water's edge. Prebook a whale and wildlife watching tour, take a surfing lesson or just wander along the miles of beaches that can be found along the coastline. Spend the night in Tofino.
Day 13 Tofino to Victoria
Today's journey will take you to the southern tip of Vancouver island to the charming colonial city of Victoria which is the capital of British Columbia. For the rest of the day, enjoy the fun downtown area full of boutiques, shops and restaurants, or unwind by Victoria's Inner Harbour giving stunning views across to the sparkling lights of Vancouver. Spend the night in Victoria.
Day 14 Victoria to Vancouver
The morning is yours to spend taking in the relaxing vibes of island life before heading back to the bustling city of Vancouver. Take time to stop at the beautiful Butchart gardens before the short ferry ride back across the Strait of Georgia to Vancouver. After settling into your hotel, spend the day visiting popular sites such as the Capilano Suspension Bridge, the markets on Granville Island or enjoy the exciting entertainment district and nightlife. Spend the night in Vancouver.
Day 15 Vancouver
Spend your last day squeezing in some last minute shopping and sightseeing before spending the night in Vancouver. Explore the delightful Stanley park, you can either walk around the harbour wall or explore further inside for hidden lakes, an aquarium and restaurants. If you fancy a relaxing day, why not head to one of Vancouver's many beaches and have a paddle in the sea. Overnight in Vancouver.
Day 16 Vancouver - End of Tour
