Day 1 Fly from London to Vancouver
On arrival into Vancouver make your way to your chosen hotel and spend the rest of your day sampling the delights of this bustling city.
Day 2 Vancouver – Spirit Bear Lodge
This morning you will take a scheduled flight up the sunshine coast to the resort of Bella Bella, where you will be met by your guides, who will take you on a 90 minute scenic boat ride to Klemtu and the Spirit bear lodge. The rest of the day is yours to relax and orientate yourself with the lodge until dinner with fellow guests in the ‘Great room’, with its floor to ceiling windows and views of the ocean.
Day 3-4 Spirit Bear Lodge
The next two days are filled with excitement and wonder as you discover this amazing and unique part of the world. Your will firstly experience a full day bear viewing adventure at one of the main grizzly viewing estuaries, where the bears come to feed and play. The following day you will set out on a full day's boat and walking tour in search of the elusive Spirit bear. Your first sighting will be a moment you will never forget. Each evening you will be treated to a sumptuous dinner followed by stories of the First Nations people, the Great bear rainforest and the bears that inhabit it.
Day 5 Spirit Bear Lodge – Vancouver
Your final hours at the lodge can include a morning sea kayak paddle, a rainforest walk, a grizzly tracking tour or a cultural tour before enjoying an early lunch and your return journey to Vancouver by water taxi and a scheduled flight. After arriving into downtown Vancouver for your overnight stay, why not take in a show or choose from one of the many fantastic restaurant scattered throughout the city.
Day 6 Vancouver – Whistler
Pick up your car and drive possibly one of the most scenic drives you can make in British Columbia, the sea-to-sky highway up to Whistler from Vancouver. Winding it’s way along the side of the Howe sound the view is spectacular, but for the ultimate vantage point of the coastal mountains and the ocean below, stop at the Sea to Sky gondola at the head of the sound, just beautiful. Once you arrive into Whistler get exploring, there is so much to see and do.
Day 7 Whistler
A full day of Whistler delights as you head out to sample this mountain playground. First up is your included bear watching tour, where your fully qualified guides will take you along the many ski roads that stitch their way across Whistler and Blackcomb mountain, to bear feeding sites, daybeds, rub trees, and old growth trees where bears have hibernated during the winter. The rest of the day is spent enjoying the many activities that Whistler has to offer.
Day 8 Fly from Vancouver to London
