Day 1 Arrival into Calgary
After collecting your car at Calgary Airport you will drive to your first hotel in downtown Calgary. Pick-up your Canada Roadbook at the front desk as you check-in for a wealth of information and places to see en-route. Remainder of the day is at leisure for exploring the ‘Stampede City’ and gateway to the Rocky Mountains. Overnight in Calgary
Day 2 Calgary to Banff
Today you will head onto Banff, one of the Rockies most popular year round mountain towns. Later this afternoon, enjoy a horseback trail ride or for non riders and children under 6 a wagon tour alongside the Bow River. A BBQ steak cookout finishes the evening off before returning to Banff for the night.
Day 3 Banff
Explore Banff and the surrounding area with dramatic waterfalls, lakes and remote hiking paths for you to discover. Spend the night in Banff.
Day 4 Banff to Jasper
Today you will set off on the most scenic drive in all of Canada, along the Icefields Parkway to Jasper. Take your time to drive along this highway and marvel at the breathtaking scenery. A must is a stop at the Columbia Icefield and Athabasca Falls where you can take a trip on an Ice Explorer, a oversized vehicle designed especially for travelling on the ice and snow, and along the Glacier Skywalk, a cliff edge walk 918 feet above the valley floor below. Jasper is a quaint mountain town, and is surrounded by rugged Rocky Mountains. The town is small but is full of life and a unique local charm that you will fall in love with. Spend the night in Jasper.
Day 5 Jasper to Clearwater
Today you will head down the Yellowhead Highway towards the Thompson Valley to Clearwater, a beautiful unspoiled area north of Kamloops. En route you will pass the majestic Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. The area is surrounded by crystal clear water and lush green forests. Spend the rest of the day and night in Clearwater.
Day 6 Clearwater to Kelowna
Continue your journey through British Columbia to the Okanagan Valley and the town of Kelowna, located on Okanagan Lake. This part of BC is famous for its orchards and wineries, many of which offer guided tours and opportunities to sample some of the locally produced wines. Spend the night in Kelowna.
Day 7 Kelowna
Kelowna is surrounded by miles of beautiful parkland and several sandy beaches that provide wonderful opportunities for swimming, boating, paddle boarding, kayaking and fishing. Enjoy an included wine tasting tour including lunch. Spend the night in Kelowna.
Day 8 Kelowna to Whistler
Journey into the Pacific Coastal mountains today and arrive into Whistler, a year round purpose built resort nestled between the Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. Spend the night in Whistler.
Day 9 Whistler
A full day to enjoy the wonders and delights of western Canada’s premier resort village! You may decide to perhaps plat a round of golf in the shadow of towering mountains, hike along endless trails and high alpine meadows, ride on horseback past spectacular glaciers or white water raft down one of the turbulent rivers. You may wish just to relax in the enchanting setting of the village and rejuvenate at the Scandinave Spa or hit the shops for some retail therapy.
Day 10 Whistler to Victoria
Leaving the mountains behind this morning you will make your way towards the glistening Pacific Coast and cross by ferry from Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo and reach the city of Victoria, the historic capital of British Columbia. Spend the rest of the day discovering the history of Victoria, and spend the night here.
Day 11 Victoria
A day in this pretty waterfront city with plenty of sightseeing options and experiences including whale watching or afternoon tea at the Fairmont Empress. Spend the night in Victoria.
Day 12 Victoria to Vancouver
Before you set off for the big city of Vancouver, we recommend a visit to Butchart Gardens, which is blooming with some of the most beautiful flower gardens you will ever come across. Making your way to the city you will embark on a mini cruise across the Strait of Georgia. Spend the night in Vancouver.
Day 13 Vancouver
Vancouver is one of the most multi-cultural cities in the world and has so much to see and do, with an endless list of activities and excursions. Stanley Park, the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain are just a few of our favourites, so make sure that you visit them on your stay! This afternoon enjoy a Guilty Pleasures tour including lunch by sampling 5 courses, 12 tastings accompanied by a Culinary Guide who will escort you through Vancouver’s gourmet restaurant streets. Spend the night in Vancouver.
Day 14 Vancouver – End of Tour
