Day 1 - Fly to Vancouver
Arrive in Vancouver International Airport, head to the arrivals and jump on your scheduled transfer to British Columbia's capital city 'Victoria'. Enjoy this scenic route across the Strait of Georgia on a short cruise, keep your eyes peeled for any spotting of marine wildlife. Upon arrival to Victoria take a short taxi to your hotel. The rest of the day will be yours wonder the beautiful harbourfront city at your leisure. Overnight in Victoria.
Day 2 - Victoria to Vancouver
Today you will have the day to enjoy some of the most remarkable trips in Victoria. In the morning why not try one of the most fascinating wildlife viewing adventure aboard a fast-moving Zodiac rigid boat with certified marine biologist to see orcas and other marine wildlife, followed by the famous afternoon tea at The Fairmont Empress and complete your day with a trip to Butchart Gardens. Whether you take our suggestion, or just take a relaxing stroll to Fisherman's Wharf to feed the seals, you will not be disappointed. Collect your transfer and cross back over the Strait of Georgia to Vancouver. Make sure you have your camera ready! Overnight in Vancouver.
Day 3 - Alaska Cruise
Arrive at the cruise terminal in Vancouver's wonderful Canada Palace. Check in to your stateroom for the next 7 days at sea on a journey of discovery to Alaska.
Day 4 - Cruising the Inside Passage
The Inside Passage is an enchanting scenic waterway stretching from Vancouver all the way up to Alaska, including some of Alaska's beautiful islands that you will see along the way.
Day 5 - Tracy Arm en route to Juneau, Alaska
Today you will cruise along Tracy Arm where you will see the majestic Sawyer Glacier. You continue south east to onto Juneau, Alaska's capital city where you will enjoy your first stop.
Day 6 - Skagway, Alaska
Known as the best preserved Gold Rush town, Skagway is a very historical town with so much history and local charm to discover. Spend the day discovering the enchanting Gold Rush story and visiting the wonderful historical buildings that the gold prospectors built.
Day 7 - Glacier Bay
You will never forget the sound of the glaciers calving as it sends a hush through the whole ship and you take in the enormous cliff-flanked fjords and remarkable wilderness. Enjoy a day of cruising through Glacier Bay which is a wildlife lover’s dream with humpback and killer whales breaching the water below.
Day 8 - Ketchikan, Alaska
Circled by lush green landscape and with evergreen mountains sprouting out of the waters, the surrounding area is breathtakingly beautiful due to the abundant rainfall of the rainforest environment. Explore the historical town.
Day 9 - Cruising the Inside Passage
Returning back to the city you will cruise the scenic Inside Passage again and keep your eyes peeled for the enchanting wildlife that call this coastline home.
Day 10 - Vancouver
Your cruise arrives back into port in the early morning. Upon arrival in Vancouver, transfer independently to your hotel where you will spend the next 2 days embracing one of the most diverse cities. Nestled on the waterfront and surrounded by mountains; Vancouver has an abundance of things to see and do. Overnight in Vancouver.
Day 11 - Fly home
Enjoy your last day taking time for a last whip around the shops in downtown Vancouver, or a final afternoon in the sunshine by English Bay before you make your way to the airport for your return flight home. Highlights include Stanley Park, Prospect Point, English Bay, historic Gastown, bustling Chinatown and much more !
ESTA online application for entry to the USA
Important: All cruise passengers must complete the online Visa Waiver form by visiting https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov which is needed for entry into the US at a cost of $14 per person.
You must complete an ESTA application at least 72 hours before flying. Any traveller who fails to complete an ESTA application at least 3 days before departure will almost certainly be refused entry into the country under new US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations. If you are even considering visiting the States, it's worth filling out an ESTA application now as they are valid for two years.Important: If you are refused entry because you do not hold the correct travel documents or have had your application for ESTA rejected - you will NOT be entitled to any form of refund or covered by your travel insurance policy.
