How to find cheap flights to Calgary

Go in the low season - The winter months of January and February are considered the ‘low season’ in Calgary, whilst the weather will be very cold, you can get cheaper Calgary flights. High season is considered to be June, July, and August, and the best time to visit for skiing is November through to March.

As part of the Calgary Transit, public buses run between Calgary Airport and the city centre and tickets are cheap. Route 300 is a rapid, limited-stop service to Downtown.

Calgary has cold, snowy winters and hot summers with lots of sunshine. In winter, the skies in Calgary are usually clear and sunny and there is little rain, with warm Chinook winds from the Rockies bringing warmer days even in the winter.
