Your day-to-day plan
Vancouver
Arrive at Vancouver International Airport and transfer independently to your downtown hotel. The next day is yours to explore this enchanting coastal city. Stroll the historic district of Gastown, which is home to fabulous restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops, take flight at Flyover Canada or join a whale watching tour and go in search of BC's resident orcas.
Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops
Travel on board the Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia's interior. From inside Rocky Mountaineer's signature glass dome carriages you will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser River valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade mountains, to the desert-like interior.
Rocky Mountaineer to Banff
Your journey onboard Rocky Mountaineer continues eastwards towards the mighty Canadian Rockies. Marvel again at the spectacular array of scenery as you travel across ranchlands, along rocky lakeshores, over high mountain passes and of course, through the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies.
Banff
Banff is a hot spot in the Rockies and one of the most visited mountain towns. Spend the day exploring or relaxing in the stunning setting.
Jasper
Leave Banff and travel north along the famous Icefields Parkway into the untamed wilderness of Jasper National Park. Stopping at the Athabasca Glacier you will enjoy a wonderful ride on an Ice Explorer onto the glacier (included). Enjoy some time in the magical town of Jasper, which still boasts an intriguing frontier identity. The day is yours to explore the remote setting.
VIA Rail to Prince George
Today you will embark on an exciting rail journey across British Columbia’s northern region to the waters of the Pacific Ocean. The northern arm of the Fraser River leads to Prince George.
VIA Rail to Prince Rupert
Continuing west the train follows the turbulent currents of the Skeena River and meanders through spectacular canyons and open valleys.
Port Hardy
Welcome to the glorious Inside Passage, a paradise for photographers and wildlife enthusiasts. Sail to Vancouver Island as you pass beautiful scenery.
Vancouver
Today, independently transfer to Port Hardy airport for your flight to Vancouver. Upon arrival in Vancouver, independently transfer to your hotel with the remainder of the day at leisure. The following day a full day trip to Victoria starts with a cruise through the Gulf Islands and includes a visit to the acclaimed Butchart Gardens.
