Getting around in Calgary


Calgary Airport has easy access to a number of different transport and transfer options after your flight, making your onward journey into Calgary and wider Canada simple. Several car rental companies operate from the airport. You can pre-book your Avis car hire with us.

As part of the Calgary Transit, public buses run between Calgary Airport and the city centre and tickets are cheap. Route 300 is a rapid, limited-stop service to Downtown.

The Allied Downtown Shuttle Service runs every 30 minutes and can be pre-booked.

Many hotels in Calgary offer a courtesy shuttle service. Simply ring your hotel from the phones located at the bus bays to arrange pick up.

Various limousine options are available at Calgary airport.

Licensed taxi stands are located by Arrivals and offer reasonable rates into Calgary. Approximate fares are about $40-45 to downtown. More luxurious sedans are around 25% more expensive.
